The Quest for the magic child
Ever since I was a child I have wanted to discover alternative worlds. To create them to inhabit them, to tell their stories.
I began with graphic novels and poetry and as a teenager music.
A large part of my life was spent as a professional musician and I told my stories through lyrics and the ineffable communion of sound. I drew only for relaxation and pleasure.

Having children was the culmination of a life spent in search of magic. For them every new discovery is magic. The stories began to flow thick and fast and I began to draw in earnest once again.
I illustrated the songs and stories I had written for them., I drew comics for them.
I began to see through the eyes of a child and connect with the child I was, the one hidden in his room filling pages and pages with strange fantastical dreams.
My quest is to catch and share the daily magic of childhood.
